A Small Geek Moment
Last night as Candy and I sat watching television, to my dismay I realized the remote control was across the room sitting on my desk.
Instead of getting off my duff and fetching the remote, I decided to use my Jedi Mind Powers™. I looked at the remote, furrowed my brow, and stuck my hand out in the grasping motion, expecting the device to fly across the room into my waiting hand.
Ultimately I failed. Candy looked at me said “Your Jedi powers are weak.”
I turned to her, waved my hand in a circular motion and said “You want to get the remote for me.”
She suddenly had a blank look on her face and said, “I suddenly want to get the remote!” Got up and retrieved it for me, placing it in my hand.
Weak Jedi powers my ass.
