Flooded Livingroom

The image you see above me is not only gross, but it’s what’s going on in my apartment at the moment.
Just so you can understand, I live in a two story townhouse. The living room is accessible by stairs going down underground from the front door. Underneath the stairs is a small wine cellar that goes unused, because neither I nor my girlfriend drinks wine, let alone stores it.
The past couple of times it has rained we’ve noticed a small leak under the stairs that pools up pretty quick, luckily only requiring a single towel to clean up. We reported the leak to the office, who thought they had fixed it.
Sunday night it rained pretty hard for a few hours, and by Monday my wine cellar was full of water. By Tuesday morning it had drained underneath the stairs into my living room.
Tuesday afternoon they managed to get a water extraction company out to suck up what little water was left by that time, and the office had sent some contractor who was so old he could barely make it down the stairs.
It rained again last night pretty hard, but not for very long. When I went to bed, there was some water by the bottom step but had not leaked any further.
When I awoke this morning I found 1/4″ of water in my living room. It had progressed to the entire left side, spreading into my area rug, my desk, and was pooling around my computer, subwoofer, and UPS. I was able to save the computer (I checked inside and there was no water damage, bless Dell and their tall computer cases), but it’s possible I lost my subwoofer entirely.
During lunch I went home and checked on it, and not only had the maintenance NOT been there, but neither had the water extraction company. I had to walk down and raise hell for them to even move their ass to START the process. They pulled in some contractors that were working on another apartment to look at the damage, and the gentleman assured me it would be fixed today.
I highly doubt it, but something has to happen soon. I don’t want to lose everything I own because of their ineptitude.
I remember why I hate living in apartments so much now.
