Upright Citizens Brigade Season 2 DVD News

Several years have passed since the great Upright Citizens Brigade show was on Comedy Central, and most of the stars have gone on to some pretty great roles (Amy Poehler on SNL, Matt Walsh on The Daily Show and Man Bites Dog). Since then UCB Theater in New York has branched out to an improv school and a second theater in Los Angeles, and the cast of UCB has grown exponentially.

The Season One DVD came out years ago and there hasn’t been much mention of a second season DVD, let alone the third season. Via TV Squad and TVShowsOnDVD.com, reports are coming in that the UCB themselves are recording the commentary track for Spaghetti Jesus and my personal favorite episode Supercool at their UCB LA Theater this Saturday, March 31.

No official word on when the Season Two DVD will be released, although it’s promised at the end of this year. I know what’s going in my wish list this Christmas.
