This Week In Links

I’ve developed a new category on The Daily Haggis called “This Week In Links.” The purpose of this is for mini-postings on Fridays in the form of text links to some of my favorite stories of the week that may not have been covered in other articles.
So without further ado, here’s This Week In Links for February 16, 2007:
Aaron Eckhart has been cast as prosecutor Harvey Dent in the Batman Begins sequel, The Dark Knight. Harvey Dent eventually becomes the villain Two-Face, which was previously played on screen by Billy Dee Williams (Batman) and an over-the-top performance by Tommy Lee Jones (Batman Forever.) [Sci Fi Wire]
Bye buh buh bye, bye buh buh bye, baby! Universal Pictures is planning a biopic about the 80’s travesty that was Milli Vanilli, to be penned by Catch Me If You Can writer Jeff Nathanson [Pajiba]
Enjoying the new features of Office 2007? The software was just released less than 30 days ago, and already Microsoft is planning the next version [Neowin]

The Michelin Man is back, and he’s had lypo. [The Sun]
Chris Cornell quits Audioslave due to “personality conflicts and music differences.” The last album sucked anyway. [Blabbermouth.net]
Rumors of a J.J. Abrams produced The Dark Tower mini-series, originally written by Stephen King. Please, please, please, please do NOT screw this up. [Ain't It Cool News]

That’s all for this week! I’ll be running these every Friday from now on, so check back next week.
