Merry Christmas from NBC: Here’s My Dick in a Box
From last week’s episode of Saturday Night Live, here’s a SNL Digital Short featuring Justin Timberlake and Andy Samburg singing the now famous “Dick In a Box” song. The pair parodies the typical R&B soul songs the likes of which haven’t been seen since when Color Me Badd ruled the Earth.
Okay, that never happened, but they do look uncannily like those guys.
This is the special Uncensored version that had to get special clearance from the president of NBC. I wonder what that conversation went like?
SNL: Hey boss, we want to put this awesome new digital short up on YouTube, but we want to put the uncensored version because it’s funnier.
NBC President: Really? What’s the sketch about?
SNL: Justin Timberlake wants to give you his dick in a box.
NBC President: That’s great! But what’s the sketch about?
SNL: No, sorry. That’s the content of the sketch. Him and Andy sing about giving their penis’s to their loved ones, only wrapped in a box that hangs off their groin. Kinda like the old “hole in the popcorn” date trick?
NBC President: Uhhh.. We’re not gonna get sued for this, right?
SNL: (pauses) Nah.
NBC President: Wow, thanks for the encouragement. Sure, whatever. As long as it makes people think SNL can still be funny.
SNL: That was a low blow.
NBC President: In a box?
