ALL SMOKED OUT - The End

All is well that ends well.

We’ve all reached the end of a long journey that has taken us through twenty of these United States. We have gone from the humid weather of Texas to the crisp breeze of the East Coast, then to the biting cold of the North, and then through high winds, frozen roads, and finally palm trees.

We’ve seen this nation’s capital, memorials, tributes, landmarks, and parades. We’ve seen the sun rise and set among thousands of miles of shared travel among a tight group of survivors.

We’ve played showcases, ten minute sets, and entire shows. We’ve made heads bang in every state we set up in, and we have left our marks on an entirely new audience that spans from coast to coast.

We’ve taken hundreds of pictures, hours of video, and written new songs inspired by the road. We’ve played our favorite songs, performed our favorite sets, and partied with the best that every state has to offer.

We’ve made new friends, new contacts, and new memories. We’ve had ups, downs, 180s, flat tires, equipment malfunctions, and hundreds of new learning experiences.

Most of all, we’ve enjoyed the love and support from every person we’ve met along the way.

One Fry Short Productions would like to thank Wordsmith for working with us to make it all possible, and his crew SoL and Kontact (Looking forward to the first singles!), Da GoldenChild and his Schoolyard Click of DotCom and XL Pusher, Ian from ToC Bar for giving us another chance and supporting the tour, Rich from Papa’s Icehouse for letting us be too loud one more time, The Bourbon Room in Fredricksburg for being our first out of state audience, RTS from Detroit 4 Life and Mama at Club Visions in Detroit for the two great nights they gave us, , The King’s Inn in Fremont CA, and much love to Club Velvet/227 for being our last and BEST audience. Special thanks go those who let us crash their homes: Wordsmith and Zuri, Da GoldenChild’s dad for the hotel rooms, and Ron and Anita for the wonderful hospitality in Northern California. Also thanks to Chero and Robin from Long Beach for working so hard to get us a foot in the door in LA.

We would also like to thank the friends and families of everyone involved with the tour. I hope you have all enjoyed the photos and stories from the road and it helped you follow along with us. We appreciate all the comments and compliments; the support and faith is what kept us going the whole way.

Until next time!
