Moss Joins M:I 3
Paramount Pictures has tapped Matrix star Carrie-Anne Moss to star opposite Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible 3, Variety reported. The report confirms a rumor about the casting of the film, which is set to start shooting this summer for a 2005 release.
Narc director Joe Carnahan will helm Mission: Impossible 3, which will be produced by Cruise and Paula Wagner via their Paramount-based C/W Productions. Cruise will again portray agent Ethan Hunt, the trade paper reported.
Ving Rhames is set to reprise his sidekick role as Luther Stickel. The script has gone through several high-profile writers, including Dean Georgaris, Robert Towne and Dan Gilroy, the trade paper reported. Frank Darabont has been working on the most recent draft.
