Zombies Defeat Jesus
I usually don’t post “box office” articles like this, but I just couldn’t resist having an article entitled “Zombies Defeat Jesus”. ![]()
On another note, I’ve seen Dawn of the Dead and it ROCKS. I’ve never been a slobbering fan of the original series and I like what the director did with their version of zombies. They basically act on instinct (like an animal would), hence the running and grunting, instead of shuffling and repeating “brains”.
Dead Rises To Top
Dawn of the Dead topped the March 19 weekend box-office rankings, taking in about $27.3 million and bumping The Passion of the Christ out of first place, the Associated Press reported. The Passion took in $19.2 million, slipping to second place after three straight weekends on top, the wire service reported.
The Passion raised its domestic total to $295.3 million since opening Feb. 25. The movie passed The Sixth Sense, which earned $293.5 million, to take over 18th place on the all-time domestic chart, the AP reported.
In narrower release, Jim Carrey’s Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind premiered in sixth place with $8.6 million, the AP reported. Agent Cody Banks: Destination London dropped to eighth place, with about $6 million for the weekend.
