The Friday Five
Just as a side note, if you haven’t bought the new Norah Jones album “Feels Like Home” yet, you need to join one of the other 1.02 million who bought it last week. It’s worth every penny. Don’t like to go to a music store? You can buy it on iTunes Music Store as well.
Now on to this week’s Friday Five:
When was the last time you…
1. …went to the doctor?
I think I was 17 years old, and had a serious ear infection. No insurance=no regular doctor visits.
2. …went to the dentist?
At 18, to replace a tooth that had a cap on it for about ten years. I broke the tooth running across a concrete slab outside a day-care and tripped, landing with my mouth open. The cap broke off as I was eating a Tostada (flat baked corn tortilla with refried beans, cheese & lettuce) and noticed half of my front tooth was missing.
3. …filled your gas tank?
Yesteday on the way to Lowe’s to pick up another gallon of white paint for my house. I think it cost me $20 to fill up my tank.
4. …got enough sleep?
Heh. About a month ago maybe? I just came off production of our biggest book and went straight into repairing/moving into my new house. Ask me that question again on Monday.
5. …backed up your computer?
I dunno, 1995, the last time I had a tape drive? With the size of today’s hard drives unless you have a DVD burner (which I don’t yet) it’s damn near impossible to back up 60gb worth of data on 700mb CD-ROM’s. (Quick calculations).. Okay it’d take about 65-67 CD’s to back up my hard drive, at a burning time of about 5-6 minutes a peice for a total time of SEVEN HOURS. Yeah, I don’t think so.
