New and Improved!
Surprise! It’s not a completely new look, but it helps spruce the place up a little. I re-did some of the icons and reformatted the articles to help with future changes with the site. As of today the “headline” changes are only affected on the main page. I have to wait until I get all the older articles reformatted before I can make the changes site-wide.
I decided to change the cosmetics of the site in celebration of the site’s upcoming 1 year anniversary. 1 Year, over 500 articles, and over 120,000 visitors later, I am proud to have my little corner of the web.
The Daily Haggis was born on December 18, 2002 after getting tired with dealing with Yahoo! Groups newsletter service. The Weekly Haggis existed in early 2002 and ended soon after the new year for fear of having my internet service shut off for “distributing spam” as Time/Warner liked to put it. Feh.
Hope you all enjoy the little changes here and there and keep an eye out in the future for new features such as “Related Articles” and a “Photo Album” (the current is just a randomly generated image from my site).
I also want to give a giant “Thank You!” to BlogHosts, who have dutifully kept my site up and running since I bought the domain back in January. Keep up the good work Jace & Co!
