The Friday Five
1. What’s the last place you traveled to, outside your own home state/country?
Outside? Umm I think it was like three years ago, the last time I visited my Dad down in South Padre Island. We went over into Matamoras, Mexico for the day.
2. What’s the most bizarre/unusual thing that’s ever happened to you while traveling?
When I was eight years old, my mom and I were moving back to Houston from Orlando, FL and had to pass through a small town called “Pascagoula, Mississippi”. It was a shitty little town that was completely deserted at 9pm. Weird. Did I mention it smelled funny?
3. If you could take off to anywhere, money and time being no object, where would you go?
Oh man. How about an extremely extended vacation to Holland, more specifically, Amsterdam? Where else in the world (besides Vegas) can you find every 7 Deadly Sin in one city? (As illustrated on Insomniac this season)
4. Do you prefer traveling by plane, train or car?
Well I’ve only ridden one of those little puddle jumpers on the way down to South Padre, and driving is alright, but I’ve never traveled by train. I would probably prefer an airplane if I want to get there and not mess with pit stops, bathroom breaks, etc, but I’m not advese to road trips.
5. What’s the next place on your list to visit?
Well for my birthday my Sister and her Boyfriend went in and got me a ticket to go with them to New York City in October. It’s my first time, so I’m excited! I’m gonna go to the Rainbow Room and try to get in the audience of Saturday Night Live, too. Yay Big Apple!
