MSN Messenger 6 Public Preview
It’s here, it’s official, it’s still beta!
Today saw the official release of MSN Messenger 6 Public Preview. This is an update to the leaked copy that was posted here and other sites and has already racked up over 2 million downloads.
So far I haven’t seen much difference in the versions other than a few title and cosmetic changes. Any custom backgrounds, profile pics, and custom emoticons will be reset after installing this version.
And just to quell the trolls out there, this is still a BETA version of an upcoming release. It has full functionality, but any technical problems resulting from using this program are not supported.
Everything is enabled in this version including Webcam support, File Sharing (which is awesome) and all the games. The official build is 268.
