The Daily Haggis is MOVING!
New home, new name, new design
Over the next few days, I will be moving the site over to my new host, BlogHosts.com, who offer quite good deals on server space that offers MYSQL PHP & Custom CGI scripts for only $5 a month.
Not only will The Daily Haggis have a new home, it’ll also have a new way to get to it. Instead of the portal site through One Fry Short Productions, the site can be reached directly through www.dailyhaggis.com. Expect this to go live in the next few days. For a while the old address will still be active just to ensure my search listings on various search engines.
And lastly, a new design. With the new server move, I can get away from the limitations of Blogger’s scripts and have archives, search bars, and several other options I couldn’t do on the old server. I’m switching over to the latest version of MoveableType v2.63, which is what the REAL bloggers use. The new design is a work in process and won’t go up until I am completely happy with the layout, although I will be providing temporary links to those that wish to see it in its infancy stages.
So be patient if you receive 404 Page Not Found errors or DNS errors, it’s possible the move won’t be instant, but i’m crossing my fingers.
