I can’t seem to get anything done..
Can I just go back to bed?
Vacations are both a blessing and a curse. While I severely enjoyed my time off during the Holiday break, i’m afraid I can’t seem to get back into the swing of things at both home and work. My house is a mess, my stupid Christmas tree is still on my front porch, and I can’t seem to muster the energy to get anything done at work.
Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t take my vacation time back if the world depended on it. It’s not that i’m down, or tired, or any of those things. I’m lazy. Oh, and i’m addicted to an online multiplayer game.
That MUST be it. They should call that game “Neverwinter Sleepless Nights” It’s just SO addictive, and not just the gameplay. That’s only about 1/3 the fun of it. I really enjoy running around pretending to be someone else and interacting with others who are doing the exact same thing. Hence is the original draw to Dungeons & Dragons (the actualy RPG.) Sometimes fantasy is better than reality. At least more exciting, most of the time. In my case, anyway.
Feh. Back to work.
