Monday Mission 2.52
Last MM of 2002
It’s the last Monday Mission of 2002, and this one is reflective… kinda. MM 3.0 next week!

1. Which Blog post of yours was one of your favorites of 2002?
Has to be on “Inside Gretchen’s Head” a couple of months ago where she had the conversation with “SmarterChild”.. sorry no link.
2. Were there any “old acquaintances” that should be forgot this year?
Yeah, my ex-girlfriend. That ended.. weird.
3. Did you finish what you started last week?
If you mean going to bed at 3am, sleeping until 1pm and spending a lot of time playing computer games and surfing the net? Yup. Vacation rocks.
4. Will you be doing anything to celebrate “New Year’s Eve?” Any traditional food or drinks you associate with “New Year’s?”
I plan on going to a couple of friend’s houses before the new year, and finish up the night at midnight (hopefully many beers under.)
5. What was the coolest present you got this year?
I think the analog wall clock my mom got me. It chimes the Westminster chime on the hour (but only between 7am-9pm). I thought it might bother me at first, but it’s quickly growing on me.
6. The day after Christmas, around 3pm, I drove by a car where the driver and his passenger were each drinking a beer; there was no mistake about it. I was shocked, because I’d never seen anyone actually do this. And wasn’t sure what I should do about it. What would you do in the same situation?
Well, drinking and driving is by far one of the most objectional offenses these days, but honestly it was like 3pm, right? They probably just got back from somewhere and wanted a cold beer. People can just drink ONE beer and stop, ya know. In my situation, i’d probably just go home and pop one open myself.
7. Have you ever driven a car while drinking alcohol? Ever driven drunk or known anyone who has? How’d that turn out?
I’ve drank maybe half a beer on the way to people’s houses before, but it’s always the FIRST one, not the SIXTH. I drove while I was drunk once. I got hit by an eighteen-wheeler after I ran a stop sign. That was the last time.
Bonus: Why’d you have to go and make things so complicated?
I’m sorry! I couldn’t help it. I have no excuse for what I did. (?)
