W00t! I Beat My Highest 3DMark Score!

3DMark2001 is a video card benchmarking tool that runs you through a series of video tests that push your video card and system to the max to generate a score. At the end of the test, you can publish your score to the company website and save it, so the next time you benchmark (say you get a better video card) you can compare your old score to your new one.

I just installed DirectX v9 and ATi’s newest Catalyst 3.0 drivers and ran 3DMark2001 SE immediately. I beat my highest score by almost 500 points! Now i’m off to go see the true improvement when I load up Hegemonia: Legions of Iron and invade a few planets.
